As a filmmaker, Tom Von Doom has distinguished himself in many ways - starting as a humble production assistant and working his way up the ladder through meritorious service from Gaffer to Editor to Writer, Producer and Director.

Cheech Marin and the Chairman hard at work on the documentary, "My Family," part of the multi-media exhibit Chicano Now: American Expressions which chronicles the struggles of hispanic artists to be recognized in a repressive society. The show is touring museums across the country, currently at the Smithsonian.

Funny Pictures is a joint venture with friend and colleague Pat Evans. A subsidiary of Von Doom International Conglomerated Media, it was established in 2001 to meet the creative needs of comedians as writers and performers. Their first film, "Feeling Funny: The Pat Evans Story," is about struggling against the odds to make it in Hollywood, and contains appearances from just about every up and coming comic in town as well as established stars like Jay Mohr, Sarah Silverman, Carrot Top and Improv founder Budd Friedman.

Currently in production is their next film, "Everybody Loves Big Sexy," starring writer and comedian, Sean Kent as a European porn star trying to make his comeback in the States.
